Created in 2019, Bloom Biorenewables SA is a spin-off from the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL). Bloom has developed the first technology to selectively convert the most abundant biopolymers on Earth – cellulose & lignin – into added-value chemical products. The vision is to enable an efficient utilisation of resources and promote the shift towards a green and circular society.

The cover letter should include a little text about your skills, but you should focus on your motivation to apply for this position and how your profile will help Bloom to reach its goals. The process follows a procedure to ensure equal opportunities for every candidate: getting to know team members through two to three conversations about Bloom, your experience, and your interests. As part of the process, we will run through a skills screening (e.g. a case challenge). A final reference call with a former colleague / manager of yours gives additional insight into your needs.
